Assistant Professor in Accounting

Job Description & Qualification

Florida State University, Department of Accounting, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning August 2025.

All candidates should have a Ph.D. in accounting. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to publish in leading scholarly journals and a commitment to excellence in teaching. All areas of research expertise will be considered, including auditing, financial and taxation, although we have a strong preference for candidates with an interest in teaching financial accounting. A criminal history background check will be performed prior to hiring. The position is subject to funding approval.
