Job Description & Qualification

Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School’s Applied Economics Group in Cambridge, MA is seeking faculty at the junior level, effective July 1, 2025, or as soon thereafter as possible. Outstanding senior level applicants will also be considered. We stress high research potential or achievement; faculty responsibilities include conducting original scholarly research in applied economics or relevant topics; teaching basic Economic Theory and Applied Economics, as well as more specialized courses at graduate and undergraduate level. Applicants must possess a PhD in Economics or a related field by the start of employment. Applications must include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation.
