Job Description & Qualification

Florida State University’s College of Business seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant, Associate or Full Professor position in Finance. Candidates with expertise in Healthcare Finance are invited to apply. The position is scheduled to start in Fall 2025.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates for this position must have earned or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Finance, Financial Economics or Health Economics. Degree must be conferred by August 1, 2025. Candidates should have a strong commitment to excellent teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels as well as a research agenda that targets top-tier journals. Primary teaching load for this position includes graduate financial management courses for healthcare organizations with flexibility to teach additional courses from the traditional finance curriculum. The candidate’s research can be in the areas of healthcare and/or finance.
