Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Finance
Job Description & Qualification
Applications are invited from qualified individuals who have excellent research and teaching capabilities. Ph.D. (or very near completion) is required. We will also consider appointments at the Associate and Full Professor rank. A strong publication record in the top-tier finance and economics journals is required for appointments at senior ranks.
Successful applicants will be expected to establish an internationally recognized research program at the University of Texas, mentor graduate students, and teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The predominant mode of instruction and research is in-person, such that faculty appointed for employment shall reside in the proximate area of the work site for the duration of their appointment and be able to maintain a daily in-person schedule at the assigned work site.
