Assistant Professor of Finance

Job Description & Qualification

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis with a preferred start date of August 2025. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities
• Teaching courses in Finance in the BBA, MBA, and PhD programs.
• Supervising PhD students in Business Administration.
• Active research with expectations of external grant funding.
• Service as required by the department.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

A Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Finance or a related discipline, is required.

Preferred Qualifications Include
• Evidence of scholarship/creative activities
• Record of teaching or assisting in teaching classes in Finance
