Job Description & Qualification
The Department of Finance, NUS Business School, invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in finance at all levels. Candidates working in all areas of finance will be considered. Selection for associate and full professor ranks will be based on an established publication record and proven teaching excellence.
Quality research is strongly emphasized. In the recent years, our finance faculty have published extensively in top journals including the American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Political Economy, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and the Review of Financial Studies.
The school provides extensive databases. In addition, research funds for additional database purchases and international conference travel are readily available. A reduced teaching load comparable to leading research intensive universities is provided to new hires to encourage research. We offer salaries competitive with leading state schools in the US. In addition, subsidized housing is also provided.

Application Procedure
The application package should be sent electronically (preferably in pdf format), including a cover letter, current CV, three letters of recommendation, teaching and research statements, and recent publications or working papers, no later than November 25, 2024. We will conduct the first-round interviews online in December (tentatively in the second week of December). Second round interviews will be in person. Applications will be evaluated on a continuous basis and those who apply early may be called earlier for interviews as well as campus visits.
