Assistant Professor of Finance
Job Description & Qualification
The School of Management at Binghamton University (State University of New York at Binghamton) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Finance starting in mid-August 2025, subject to budgetary approval.
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Finance or a closely related field, or will have completed all degree requirements by the start of the academic year (August 18, 2025). Applicants should demonstrate the ability to conduct high-quality research and contribute to the intellectual environment of the area. The teaching responsibility includes two courses per semester and involves teaching Finance courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Faculty are also expected to participate in curriculum development and assessment, and engage in other service duties for the school and the university, both internally and externally. To support faculty research, the school provides summer funding for the first three years of service.
