Job Description & Qualification

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Accounting, a Ph.D. in Management with a concentration in Accounting, or will have completed all degree requirements before the academic year obligation start date (August 18, 2025). High quality research as evidenced by publication in the top-tier accounting journals is expected as well as high quality teaching in the classroom. The teaching component (2 + 2) requires delivering required/elective courses in Accounting at the undergraduate or graduate levels. Faculty are expected to participate in curriculum development and assessment, and engage in other service duties for the school and the college, both internally and externally, and contribute to the intellectual environment of the area. To support faculty research, the school provides summer funding for the first three years of service and subscriptions to WRDS and other standard databases.

Preferred Qualification: Preference will be given to applicants having the ability and willingness to teach taxation.
