Job Description & Qualification
The Department of Finance at The Ohio State University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) of Finance to begin August 2025. We welcome and will consider all applications, but we will focus our search especially on the areas where we have recruiting needs, which are microstructure, behavioral finance, and fintech.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
We stress excellence in research and in teaching at the undergraduate, MBA and/or Ph.D. levels. Candidates for Assistant Professor should have a Ph.D. in finance or economics, or expect to complete a Ph.D. in the near future. Priority areas for recruiting are microstructure, behavioral finance, and fintech. Candidates should demonstrate the potential for outstanding achievement in research and teaching.
