Faculty Position Available From Fall 2025
The Department of Accounting of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) seeks candidates for tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks to begin in Fall 2025. Visiting appointment will be considered if the tenure-track positions are not filled.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates should possess a doctoral degree or be near completion of the degree and should have a serious commitment to scholarly research and teaching. Candidates should provide evidence of their ability and achievements commensurate with the rank sought.
Salary, teaching load and faculty support are comparable to top US business schools and based on qualifications.

Appointments of two years or longer in duration come with 15 percent contract end gratuity. Health insurance and moving allowances are also provided. The effective income tax rate in Hong Kong is a maximum of 15%.
