Job Description & Qualification

The post-doctoral fellows will be working with a group of researchers specialized in the economic, political, and legal analyses of the digital transformation. The positions are funded in the context of two research partnerships, one with the European Commission, the other with a European industry association. In that context we would like to have them contributing to the analysis of the two following research programs.
The first one deals with the regulation of digital activities, focusing on the organizational arrangements requested to design and implement effective policies, considering the various domains of regulation — platforms, AI, medias, etc. —, and the specificities of institutional contexts (e.g. Europe vs. US vs. China).
The second one deals with the development of data-sharing ecosystems, exploring the engagement/adoption processes for stakeholders, the business models of intermediaries, the uses cases and their related “market design”, the role of public policies.
The successful candidates must have a solid background either in economics or management in one or several of the following fields: digital markets and business models, digital governance and regulation, innovation studies, organization studies. The candidate should also demonstrate a solid expertise in applied research and should be interested in deriving policy/strategy recommendations from his/her research.
The post-doctoral fellows will be working in a team made of researchers in economics and management with a strong interest for data-sciences. They will be expected to contribute to the analysis of existing databases, and to the development of additional ones. The postdoctoral fellows will also be involved in the organization of seminars and working groups and might also be asked to contribute to dissemination initiatives.
