The Faculty of Economics and Behavioural Sciences of the University of Freiburg invites applications for a Full Professorship (W3) in Microeconomics in the Department of Economics to be filled as soon as possible.
This professorship is also particularly suitable for highly qualified early career researchers.
Applicants should demonstrate a proven track record of outstanding and internationally recognized research in microeconomics. The candidate's research profile should focus on behavioural economics, supported by robust theoretical foundations and ideally complemented by empirical and/or experimental work. Additionally, the research should align with the key research areas of the Institute of Economics (including but not limited to economic policy, sustainability, public economics, finance etc.) as well as broader key research areas within the University.
Prerequisites for the employment of Professors are a university degree, an outstanding dissertation and an excellent publication record. Substantial achievements and experience in academic research and teaching, at the level of a Habilitation according to the German academic system, are expected.
