Abstract

This essay, part of a symposium honoring the scholarship of Einer Elhauge, reviews the Department of Justice's several antitrust claims against IBM in the Twentieth Century. It observes that the consequences of Justices' successful actions offer empirical support to Professor Elhauge's assault against the Single Monopoly Theory and his efforts to revive tying claims.
